More than a thousand volunteers help run Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival.

Gate Volunteer

Greet lots of people. Be a Gate Volunteer.

Gate Volunteers work in fun teams of up to 10 to 20 people at one of four entrances to Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival. Gate Volunteers request and accept donations of food and money. The amount of donations Oregon Food Bank raises at the festival depends on the enthusiasm of our Gate Volunteers.

Gate Volunteers also give directions, box food and serve as Oregon Food Bank’s goodwill ambassadors.

Qualifications: Enthusiasm! You must be at least 16 years of age. And you must be able to commit to your entire shift.

Registration begins in early May.
