Media Procedures

BEFORE the festival

Media Passes
Media passes are limited to writers and photographers on assignment, covering the festival for a legitimate publication.

To request a media pass under your name, fill out an online Media Pass Request or print this form and fax it to 503-282-0922 ATTN: WBF Media Pass Request. We will review your request and will either confirm or deny it via e-mail or fax. If we approve your request, we will send you additional instructions.

No photographers will be allowed on stage. But if your pass is approved, photographers will be allowed into a restricted area right in front of the Miller Stage.

ON SITE at the festival

  • To make arrangements on site for interviews, photographs, etc., or to receive up-to-date information, contact Jean Kempe-Ware, public relations manager, 503-572-7588 (cell). Or check at the Information Booth on site.
  • To check in and receive your media pass, go to the Information Booth.
  • Please carry your media credentials. Volunteers, who staff the booth, will ask for your credentials and record your arrival time. They will also give you an up-to-date site map and other information.
  • To interview an Oregon Food Bank representative, tell the volunteers at the Oregon Food Bank booth. They will contact the appropriate spokesperson for you. Or call Jean Kempe-Ware, public relations manager, 503-572-7588 (cell).
