passes available
PORTLAND, Ore. (June 16, 2008) – In addition to its popular Four-Day Festival Grounds Pass, the 2008 Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival, presented by First Tech Credit Union, will offer a special Blues Buddy Pass, an exclusive Blues Benefactor Pass and a Boat Pass.
Passes are available in advance online at www.waterfrontbluesfest.com via Tickets Oregon.
The Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival, July 3 through 6, 2008, is the largest blues fest west of the Mississippi, featuring more than 120 performances, workshops, after-concert dances, fireworks and more. Food and funds raised at the festival benefit Oregon Food Bank's mission to eliminate hunger and its root causes ... because no one should be hungry.
Daily admission is a donation of $10 and two cans of food per person (including children) per day. For every $10 donated, Oregon Food Bank can collect and distribute enough food through its food distribution program to fill an emergency food box, a three- to five-day supply of food for a family.
