Most-Wanted Foods

Your daily donation per person of $10 and two cans of food directly benefits Oregon Food Bank’s work to eliminate hunger and its root causes.

Most-Wanted Foods

  • High-protein food such as canned meats (tuna, chicken, salmon)
  • Canned and boxed meals (soup, chili, stew, macaroni and cheese, pasta and rice meals)
  • Cooking oil
  • Canned beans and peas (black, pinto, lentils, etc.)
  • Pasta, rice, cereal
  • Powered milk
  • Canned fruits
  • 100 percent fruit juice (canned, plastic or boxed)

Leave at home

To ensure food safety, Oregon Food Bank can’t accept:

  • GLASS ITEMS
  • HOMEMADE FOOD
  • Rusty or unlabeled cans
  • Perishable food
  • Noncommercially canned or packaged items
  • Alcoholic beverages, mixes or soda
  • Open or used items
